Finally we had a chance to work at Shadow Lawn this year! After always being booked when these couples contact me, I was finally available to work here with Debbie and Mike! What a pleasure they were! One of the first things that made me just love Debbie was the inspiration bouquet picture she showed me containing Cafe Au Lait Dahlias. Hello! Pleased to meet you Debbie! I absolutely love these flowers as you all know. I was really intrigued by her ideas for her centerpieces, when she described filling weathered old card catalog drawers with Hydrangea and using tons of mason jars and perfume jars along with them. By the time we were setting up the wedding Debbie had an amazing tablescape planned. Each table had mismatched floral print, vintage themed china on it. The weathered drawers and mason jars were all filled with locally grown and imported flowers, and piles of old books, with one placed standing up with old house numbers attached to the book covers for table numbers. I know what those of you non-creative types are thinking. But don’t- it all looked so great! Debbie was a real fan of the country chic theme, incorporating lots of super rustic elements such as twine with very feminine lace, and super country blue mason jars. Loved, loved, loved this one!

I really loved Debbie’s bouquet. The Cafe Au Laits were just perfect. I wrapped her bouquet in satin with lace trim removed from a Victorian dress. She provided the stunning cameo pin.

The bridesmaids carried feminine little clouds of Baby’s Breath, wrapped in twine.
