What a great girl Liz is! She would always make me laugh with her hysterically funny e-mails. Liz was one of the first brides who opted to rent our candelabras. To keep them simple yet elegant, we filled them with all Blue Hydrangea and rich purple toned Carnations. Half of the tables consisted of these tall beauties, and the other half of the tables were filled with masses of the same flowers placed in chunky glass cube vases. I wish I had more time to photograph this wedding but unfortunately this was a large order and we had very little time to get it all accomplished.
Congratulations Tommy and Liz!!!
I was really mad at the white Dahlia’s intended for Liz’s bouquet, they were simply awful! So I returned them to my supplier, I ordered several more bunches from another supplier and they too were unusable! It is amazing how you can order the same flowers time and time again, but there can be so much variation in quality from one week to the next! I had to do something to make this bouquet as special as I could, so I added small touches of filigree leaves that I took from a pulled apart broach I had. I felt that the leaves echoed the black onyx and crystal accents on the broach and crystal picks Liz gave me for the bouquet and the wrap.
The alter arrangements contained the same flowers as the rest of the day, but had white birch extending out for added height.
